Ice Sculptures: Colorado Ice Works

Deanna and Nick were a great couple to work with! Both of them have a serious love for college football, in fact, that’s how they met! Nick went to watch Syracuse play at the bar that Deanna was working at. It took some time for Nick to win over Deanna, a diehard CU Buff fan, but luckily he did and the rest is history!

Nick really only had one request…an ice sculpture! So we had to make it happen.  Not only did we make it happen but we made it happen 3 times! We decided to utilize the couple’s love for their college football teams and had 3 ice sculptures made. One of a CU Buffalo, one of the Syracuse Orange Man and a heart in the middle! It turned out fantastic and when guests entered into the basement for dancing it made for a show-stopping moment.

With all the special personalized touches, Deanna and Nicks wedding really felt like them! During cocktail hour guests enjoyed salt potatoes, one of Nicks favorites from his hometown of SyracuseAdditionally, each guest was given a piece of homemade fudge that Deanna grew up making with her Grandmother here in Colorado. All the little details that went into Deanna and Nick’s wedding really made it stand out and it will be one we won’t be forgetting soon!
