What did you like best about working with this couple?
Jon and Kevin were so fun to work with. They knew exactly what they wanted from their wedding- to spend a great day with their family and friends- and they knew that they wanted the look of the event to represent them. Although they were planning the wedding from both Texas and New York It was really wonderful helping them pull all of the elements together. Jon and Kevin had been together for a long time before they had decided to get married and you could really tell in the way that they worked with each other and the way they made decisions that they had thought long and hard about this day, and about each other. It was really nice seeing how much they have both gone through with each other by their side.
Did you have a favorite design element?
My favorite design element was the one that repesented them the most- the daisies! Gerber Daisies hold a special place in their relationship and I loved helping them bring that element into their special day. The Chandlier room was popping with color from those beauties going all down the tables, and the stark white Gerbers in the ceremony backdrop made a perfect backdrop for the photobooth later that night!
What did you like best about coordinating at this venue?
I love being able to coordinate at Moss Denver, not just because we love working with the Blue Eyes team there, but because it is such a fun and unique space. Being able to split up the festivities into the two rooms really makes it easy to transition from one part of the event to other, without having to worry about the weather! It was raining all day for Jon and Kevin but that didnt put a damper on anything. I think Moss has a way of attracting some of our funnest couples, always looking for a new way to bring their personailities into the blank canvas of a space. I always personally love the urban atmosphere.
