#LoKnows Nom Noms

Definition of Nom Noms: something little and delicious.

I love Nom Noms and there are so many good places to get these little yummies in the Denver area. Here are my top 5

Petey Bird Ice Cream

Ice cream sandwiches are the way to my heart but Petey Bird does it a bit different. They create gourmet mini ice cream sandwiches in flavors like double brownie salted caramel, chocolate dipped strawberries and my personal favorite, graham cracker maple bourbon. They now have a shop in  RINO so go check it out!

 The Makery

“The Makery Cake Co was started in 2006 by a molecular biologist who had an artistic streak and a love for sharing edible art with the world.” We work with these talented bakers at many of our events and their creations are not only stunning and creative but they are oh so tasty! Next time you want a beautiful piece at your next event, go have a tasting and see what they can do

City Pop Gourmet Popcorn

Popcorn is definitely a nom nom and I could just have it for dinner. This place is a popcorn and snack lovers dream! They obviously have tons of different combos of popcorn but they also have candy, nuts and puppychow. Such a great gift idea for the upcoming holidays.

The Chocolate Therapist

Now onto the chocolate part of this post. The Chocolate Therapist is located in downtown Littleton and as every type of chocolate you could crave. Along with a coffee bar they have wine chocolate pairings! Get a group together and enjoy how the owner pairs delicious wines with her excellent nom noms.

Sweet Action Ice Cream

You can literally smell the sweetness coming from this shop as you walk down Broadway. Not only do they source everything they use in Colorado but they also go a step further. “It is our priority to run a sustainable business, and Sweet Action Ice Cream is entirely powered by wind. We use compostable and recyclable packaging in our ice cream shop.” How cool is that?! Try my favorite flavor Stranahan’s Whiskey Brittle.
