What did you like best about coordinating at this venue?

This was TGE’s first event at the Tivoli Turnhalle and we can’t wait to go back! My favorite part of coordinating at this venue was utilizing the different spaces. The ceremony was down on the main level. After the ceremony, guests went upstairs to enjoy cocktail hour and then everyone came back downstairs for the reception. I loved how guests could overlook the reception space during cocktail hour and the grand entrance into the reception down the stairs was fun, too!

Did you have a favorite design element?

I loved all of the Colorado themed elements they brought in to their wedding day to highlight their love of this wonderful place! From the blue, red and yellow uplighting to the mountain designs on their cake, everything truly tied together through the Colorado theme. Guests also left with a personalized pint glass and stickers from various local breweries.

What made this event unique?

Whitney and Josh decided to utilize food stations for their meal rather than a buffet or plated meal. This really gave guests a wide variety of choices and really yummy food!

One of my favorite parts of the reception was when a couple of their friends from Austria played a traditional Austrian wedding game. It incorporated riddles and gifts from different guests. It was a fun way to mix up the reception!
